Your clients are already writing your marketing copy. It's sitting in your Google reviews — specific language about what you did, how you made them feel, and why they'd recommend you. Most businesses read those reviews once, respond with a thank you, and move on. Here's how to turn them into 30 days of social content in under two hours.

THE BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT

The best marketing copy you'll ever write isn't written by you — it's written by a satisfied client describing their experience in their own words. AI makes it practical to extract that language at scale, restructure it into posts, stories, and captions across every channel, and build a content calendar that runs on proof instead of promotion. This issue walks through the exact workflow: pulling your reviews, extracting the language that converts, and generating a month of content from what's already there.

⚡ FEATURED STORY

The Review That Became Their Best-Performing Post of the Year

A service business owner had 47 Google reviews averaging 4.9 stars. She read every one when it came in, responded with a thank you, and moved on. Her social media presence was inconsistent — a post here, a photo there, nothing that built on itself.

One afternoon she ran her last 20 reviews through Claude and asked it to extract the phrases clients used most often. Three themes came back immediately: how fast she responded, how clean the job site was at the end, and how she explained every step before doing it.

None of those were things she'd ever thought to put in a post. All three were things her ideal clients were searching for before hiring anyone.

She built four weeks of content from those three themes. Her best-performing post of the year was a direct quote from a review — unedited, just formatted — with a photo from the same job.

"Your clients are already telling the market why to hire you. The only question is whether you're listening."

— Grant Fuellenbach

🎯 THE REVIEW-TO-CONTENT WORKFLOW

Five steps. Two hours the first time. Twenty minutes every month after.

Step 1 — Pull your reviews (15 minutes).

Go to your Google Business Profile, open your reviews, and copy every review from the last 12 months into a single document. Don't filter for stars — include everything. Negative reviews contain useful language too: the gaps clients noticed are the things your future clients are worried about.

Step 2 — Extract the themes with Claude (10 minutes).

Paste your reviews into Claude and use this prompt:

"Below are Google reviews for my [service] business. Read through all of them and identify: the three to five phrases or themes clients use most often to describe positive experiences, the specific outcomes they mention (what changed, what got fixed, how they felt), and any language that appears across multiple reviews. Format the output as a themed list with example quotes under each theme."

Claude returns a structured breakdown of how your clients actually talk about your work — not how you describe it on your website.

Step 3 — Generate 30 days of posts (30 minutes).

Take the themed output and run this prompt for each theme:

"Using this client language and these themes: [paste output], write eight social media posts for a [service] business. Mix formats: two direct client quotes formatted as testimonials, two before/after story posts, two posts that explain the process behind a common result clients mention, and two posts that address a concern clients raised. Write in a confident, plain-spoken tone. No hashtags. No emojis unless I specify."

Adjust the format mix to fit your channels. You now have a month of posts built entirely from what your clients already said.

Step 4 — Pull the best quotes for standalone content (15 minutes).

Identify the two or three reviews with the most specific, visual language — the ones that tell a mini story. Use this prompt:

"Take this client review: [paste review]. Reformat it as a social media testimonial post. Keep the client's exact words intact. Add a one-sentence intro that sets the scene (the service, the situation) and a one-sentence close that connects it to what a new client can expect. Under 150 words total."

These posts consistently outperform polished branded content because they're unambiguously real.

Step 5 — Build the calendar and schedule (20 minutes).

Drop your 30 posts into a simple spreadsheet or scheduling tool — one post per day, alternating between quote posts, process posts, and story posts. Schedule the first two weeks immediately. Review and adjust the second two weeks based on what performs. Next month, pull your newest reviews and repeat the process.

⚙️ TIPS & TAKEAWAYS

1. Client language converts better than brand language. The words your clients use to describe your work are the words your future clients type into search bars and say out loud to AI assistants. When your content uses the same language, it resonates immediately — because it sounds like the answer to the question they were already asking. Your brand voice matters. Your clients' voices convert.

2. Specificity is the differentiator. "Great service, highly recommend" is a five-star review with zero marketing value. "They showed up on time, covered everything in plastic before they started, and walked me through the repair before they left" is a review you can build four posts from. When you follow up with clients after a job, ask them to mention a specific detail — what they noticed, what surprised them, what they'd tell a neighbor. Specific reviews generate specific content.

3. Negative reviews are a content brief. A review that mentions a concern — communication timing, a messy job site, unclear pricing — is telling you what your ideal client is worried about before they hire anyone. Address those concerns directly in your content: a post explaining your communication process, a before-and-after of a clean job site, a transparent breakdown of how you price. That content converts skeptics better than any testimonial.

4. Repurpose across channels without rewriting. Each Claude-generated post can be adapted for every platform with one additional prompt: "Reformat this post for [Instagram caption / LinkedIn post / email newsletter intro / Google Business Profile update]. Adjust the length and tone for that platform but keep the core message." One review becomes five pieces of content across five channels in under ten minutes.

5. Run this process quarterly, not once. Your reviews compound. Every new job produces new language, new outcomes, and new client perspectives. Run this workflow every quarter and your content calendar stays fresh without starting from scratch. Set a reminder for the first Monday of every quarter: pull reviews, run the prompts, schedule the month.
