LIVE EVERY TUESDAY

The better you are at your job, the more your company leans on you. Every question, every decision, every “got a sec?” lands on your desk.

That’s why Christene Marie of The Knowing Agency and I started a live workshop series. Every Tuesday, we tackle one real problem builders face with systems, AI, and growth. Bring your questions. We build the sessions around them.

This Week: How to Build Your Personal AI Assistant

Most owners use AI like a search bar. Ask a question, get an answer, start over tomorrow. It never learns who you are, how you run your jobs, or what your clients expect.

A personal AI assistant is different. It knows your company. It remembers your clients. You can text it a task from the truck, and it gets done.

This week we’ll show you how to build one:

  • Give it context. Teach it about your company, your team, your tools, and how you like things done. The more it knows, the less you explain.

  • Give it jobs. Start with the small stuff that eats your day, like follow-ups, job notes, and reminders to chase a sub.

  • Keep it close. Set it up where you already work, even a text thread, so handing off a task takes seconds.

The big shift: stop starting from scratch every time you open AI. Build an assistant that already knows your business.

Missed last week’s session on the curse of capability? This one builds on it.

What we cover

  • How to get your systems running without you in the middle

  • How to build AI workflows your whole team can use

  • How to set up an AI assistant that handles the tasks you keep forgetting

❝

You don’t need more hours in the day. You need someone who remembers everything you don’t have time to.

The AI Leverage Ladder

Think of it like a kitchen.

  1. Explore. Chat with AI to test ideas and try things out with your real business info.

  2. Document. When a prompt works, save it as a recipe your team can repeat.

  3. Share. Put your recipes into one team cookbook, so new hires learn from it instead of shadowing you.

  4. Delegate. Hand each person the workflows they own, so they run them without checking with you.

Most builders stall on the first rung. The payoff starts at rung three.

The weekly workshop also introduces our Contractor Operating System, a six-month cohort that builds six core systems into your business: Vision & Strategy, Finance & Reporting, Marketing & Sales, Production, Operations & Automation, and HR & Leadership. It starts January 7, 2027. We’re taking 20 companies, and only one per trade in each area, so you won’t sit next to your competition.

Steal this for your company

Before Tuesday, keep a running list on your phone. Every time you think “I need to remember to…,” write it down. By Monday night, you’ll have your assistant’s first job list.
